Courses and qualifications

At FEI, you can gradually build your competence as your job description changes and your career develops. FEI offers short courses, professional certificates and diplomas, as well as academic degree courses.

Short courses

FEI offers a broad range of short courses for professionals delivered in a variety of modes including intensive day release, modular, evening courses and blended learning. Many courses prepare students for professional examinations – for example, in accountancy and marketing.

Certificates

A certificate from FEI has a high merit ranking. It shows that you have mastered a particular subject. Within certain subject areas you are required to take the examinations at all levels to acquire the FEI Certificate (for example, Financial Accounting I, II & III or Tax AccountingI & II). Within other areas, you have to pass an overall exam after completing the course (for instance, the FEI Certificates in Human Resources or Marketing).

Diplomas

Our FEI Diploma courses provide advanced knowledge in a particular area, for example the FEI Diploma in Human Resource Management or the FEI Diploma in Financial Management. These courses are aimed at those of you who are in, or about to reach, a position where you have personnel or financial responsibilities. The studies comprise several distinct course modules and a final project. Exams are given and graded after each module. A diploma from FEI is very highly regarded in Sweden and is often considered a valid alternative to a university degree.

Academic courses and degrees

FEI also offers opportunities for academic study through our unique partnerships with University partners in Sweden and abroad including the UK. Swedish executives can choose from a considerable range of credit-bearing short courses and degree programmes. Lecturers are drawn from Swedish and international universities. Guest lectures are delivered by leading practitioners.

Higher Vocational Education Courses

In addition to our courses for professionals, we are one of Sweden’s leading providers of publicly funded vocational higher education courses in areas such as accounting, purchasing and insurance. The courses entail full-time study and typically involve a work placement period of up to a third of the course duration.
