BSc (Hons) International Production Management (Top-up)

Do you have a Higher Vocational Education (YH) qualification or university credits? If so, you can study a Top-up degree and obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Overview

FEI is the only education provider in Sweden offering Top-up degrees for students with a Higher Vocational Education (YH) qualification or university credits, in collaboration with Coventry University in the UK. This is a top-up programme leading to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Production Management.

About the Top-up Degree in International Production Management:

This Top-up degree broadens your expertise in production management, lean management, and industrial digitalisation. You will strengthen your CV and gain internationally relevant knowledge for future leadership roles.

Entry Requirements and Selection

A Higher Vocational Education (YH) qualification (minimum 400 YH credits) or university studies (minimum 120 higher education credits).

Your YH programme should fall within engineering, manufacturing, or similar areas. University studies should, for example, have focused on production development, production engineering, automation, operations, electrical power, or related fields.

As the programme is delivered in English, good language proficiency is required: IELTS 6.5, or equivalent to grade C or higher in English A and B from Swedish upper secondary school.

Study Options

Full-time studies:

  • Two semesters over one year, approx. 40 hours/week including lectures, independent study and group work
  • Two courses run in parallel, with daytime and evening lectures 2–3 times/week

Part-time studies:

  • Four terms over two years, approx. 20 hours/week including lectures, independent study and group work
  • One course at a time, with evening lectures 1–2 times/week

Methodology

You will be enrolled at Coventry University, at their international campus in Wrocław, Poland, and attend classes via FEIFLEX. For each session, you can choose whether to attend on-site at FEI’s premises in Stockholm or join remotely. Lectures are also recorded so you can review them afterwards.

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee is GBP 9,535. The exchange rate is set by CSN on the first banking day of the year and determines the fee in SEK for the entire study period. This exchange rate applies regardless of whether the studies are funded through CSN’s tuition fee loan or privately.

The fee includes all teaching and supervision. The cost of course literature is not included.

Funding

The programme is delivered online and you are registered as a student at Coventry University’s international campus in Wrocław, Poland. This means the Top-up degree is classified as EU studies abroad and therefore qualifies for student finance from CSN, including the tuition fee loan. More information is available on CSN’s website.

You may also finance your studies independently or through your employer.

Degree

This Top-up degree leads to a university qualification from Coventry University: Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Production Management.

In combination with your previous YH studies, the qualification is assessed by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from a Swedish university.
