Overview
FEI is the only education provider in Sweden that offers Top-up degrees for those with a Higher Vocational Education diploma (YH) or a university degree, in collaboration with Coventry University in the UK. It is an advanced study program that leads to an international Bachelor's degree, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in IT Management.
About the Top-up Degree in International IT Management:
This Top-up degree expands your expertise in IT management with a focus on business operations, business-critical IT systems, and digital leadership. It strengthens your CV and provides internationally recognized skills for a future leadership role in IT.
You will learn about:
- Business strategy and business analysis
- Software development and management
- IT systems, infrastructure, and hardware
Eligibility and selection:
A Higher Vocational Education diploma (minimum 400 YH credits) or university studies (minimum 120 higher education credits).
Your vocational education should fall under the category of data, IT, or similar fields. University studies should preferably be in areas such as software development, web development, IoT development, IT project management, systems development, UX design, or another subject that includes foundational IT knowledge.
The program is conducted in English, which means good language proficiency is also required — 6.5 IELTS points or equivalent to grade C or higher in English A and B from upper secondary school.

Study Options
Full-time studies:
- Two terms over one year
- Approx. 40 hours/week including lectures, individual, and group study
- Two courses run in parallel, with daytime and evening lectures 2–3 times/week
Part-time studies:
- Four terms over two years
- Approx. 20 hours/week
- One course at a time, with evening lectures 1–2 times/week
Learning Format
You will be enrolled at Coventry University, at their international campus in Wrocław, Poland, and attend classes via FEIFLEX. For each class, you can choose to participate on-site at FEI’s premises in Stockholm or join remotely online. All lessons are recorded for later review.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is GBP 9,535. The final cost in SEK depends on the current exchange rate.
The fee includes all teaching and supervision. Course literature costs are additional.
Funding
Since this is considered distance study within the EU (through Coventry University’s campus in Poland), the Top-up degree qualifies for CSN student aid, including additional loans to cover tuition fees. More information is available at CSN’s website.
You may also fund your studies independently or through your employer.
Degree
The programme awards a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International IT Management from Coventry University.
Combined with your previous YH or university studies, the degree is assessed by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) as equivalent to a Swedish bachelor’s degree.
