Information in English

FEI offers an MBA programme for candidates who are looking to develop the skills pertaining to their management positions. We have gathered an elite group of Scandinavian researchers and lecturers so that we can offer a first-rate education. The programme is held in English and the skills, knowledge and the university degree you will gain are highly prized on the international market.  This executive programme is given on a part-time basis over 24 months and meant to be pursued at the same time as you continue with your work. The classes will be provided via FEIFLEX, our market leading Edtech solution which allows you to participate actively in the classroom, regardless of where you are in the world.

Are you thinking about an MBA?

FEI has been offering MBA programmes for over 25 years and was one of the pioneers in Sweden when it comes to English courses with an international focus. Over the years we have gathered a substantial amount of knowledge and experience.

You will be able to find a multitude of courses that are marketed as “MBA” or “Master level”. These are not protected definitions, meaning that you will see a large variation in the length, content and study demands of these courses. The addition of “Executive” is also used in different ways. Sometimes it is a way of saying that your studies will not yield an academic degree. Here at FEI we take Executive to mean an academic programme that is aimed at managers who intend to continue working during their studies.

Experience tells us that an MBA is important in order to advance your career but it is crucial that it is based on a rigorous education that is tailored to your needs.

What are then the key factors? We believe that an MBA – Master of Business Administration – should be designed for working professionals who want to expand their knowledge, develop their careers and future-proof their skills. We therefore think an MBA programme should be selected from the following criteria:

  • Content should be relevant, up-to-date and immediately transferrable into practice
  • Academics who teach on the course should be at the top of their fields and internationally respected
  • Delivery of studies should be tailored for those who have a demanding job and hectic home life
  • Participants should benefit from each other’s knowledge and background in a demanding, but also creative and open, environment
  • The programme should award academic credits and a postgraduate university degree that opens up the option for further studies on an even higher level

We have designed The Scandinavian Executive MBA with these principles in mind. If they live up to your requirements of a future MBA, then I suggest that you sign up for one of our digital meetings where we can tell you more about the programme and answer all of your questions. You are of course also welcome to contact me and my colleagues directly.

Magnus Rolf, CEO FEI

Financing

There are three options of financing relevant for the Scandinavian Executive MBA

Your employer pays the tuition fee

This is the most common type of financing at FEI. The tuition fee is divided into two parts and billed on an annual basis. 50% at the start of the course and 50% at the start of the second year.

The individual pays the tuition fee

Private financing is not an issue for gaining your MBA. This case also divides the tuition fee and bills it as per above.

The individual pays the tuition fee using a FEI student loan

As an individual you can apply to pay the tuition fee in instalments via a FEI student loan. You apply for this loan in conjunction with your application to the programme. The maximum period of payment is five years. Interest rates are very competitive, currently 0.99%. Payments are made via direct debit on a monthly basis starting with the starting month of the course.

Faculty

The choice of lecturers and guest lecturers is incredibly important for the quality of an MBA programme. It is imperative that the people who are meant to teach you are at leading positions in their fields and hold international recognition for their academic work. Obviously they also need to be able to teach in a way that is adapted for the needs of the highly qualified students that pursue an MBA.

Most of the teaching staff on the Scandinavian MBA are from the top Swedish universities. They are retained by FEI to give courses associated with their areas of expertise, these are also the same areas in which they conduct their ongoing research.

What is FEIFLEX?

FEIFLEX is our unique Edtech concept that offers students complete freedom over how they want to experience their course. FEIFLEX combines the best aspects of traditional classroom teaching and distance learning. It offers benefits for all course participants regardless of how you choose to study, whether it is on site with us, from home, from the office or on a trip.
